New flooring changes the whole feel of a room. We install laminate, luxury vinyl, hardwood, and tile across Calgary — acclimated for our dry climate and built to stay level and quiet.
No obligation. Takes under 60 seconds to submit!
Calgary's dry climate and wide humidity swings make flooring installation trickier than it looks. Skip acclimation and you get gaps, buckling, and squeaks within a season. That's why proper subfloor prep and material acclimation matter as much as the install itself.
We install laminate, luxury vinyl plank, engineered and solid hardwood, and tile flooring across Calgary. That includes levelling the subfloor, acclimating materials to your home's humidity, laying boards with proper expansion gaps and underlayment, and finishing with baseboards, transitions, and thresholds for a clean, completed look.
Every floor is built to handle Calgary's dry, seasonal climate and busy households — level, quiet, and durable enough for pets, kids, and daily life.
Material choice is the first decision, and Calgary's climate narrows it. Solid hardwood is beautiful but expands and contracts noticeably through our dry-winter, Chinook-thaw cycle, so it needs careful acclimation and stable humidity. Luxury vinyl plank and laminate handle these swings far better and are our most-recommended options for busy Calgary homes. Tile is virtually climate-proof and ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways.
Subfloor prep is where shortcuts cause future problems. We level, clean, and repair the subfloor before any flooring goes down — because no amount of good material hides a subfloor that's uneven or squeaky underneath. For concrete subfloors in condos and basements we check moisture levels and use the right moisture barrier.
Acclimation isn't optional in Calgary. Wood and laminate products need to sit in your home's environment so their moisture content stabilizes before install. Skipping this step is the #1 cause of the gapping, buckling, and squeaking we get called to fix after cut-rate installs. We acclimate properly and lay boards with the expansion gaps the manufacturer specifies.
We finish the job completely — baseboards, shoe moulding, transition strips, and thresholds are all part of the install, so the floor is done when we leave, not left needing a second contractor for the trim. We also remove and dispose of your old flooring as part of the project.
We level, clean, and repair the subfloor so your new flooring sits flat, quiet, and lasts.
Flooring is left to adjust to your home's humidity to prevent future gaps and buckling.
Boards or planks are laid with proper expansion gaps, underlayment, and pattern continuity.
Baseboards, transitions, and thresholds are installed for a clean, completed look.
